Armenian’s National Statistical Service (NSS) has released data showing crime cases against individuals decreased in Armenia within eleven months of 2016, as compared to the indicated period of the previous year, yet the number of murder cases increased in the country.
According to the data, 53 murder cases were recorded in 2015 against 64 cases of the first eleven months of this year.
The number of attempted murders decreased in 2016. 1,031 cases of intentional injury to one’s health were recorded in 2016 against 994 cases of 2015.
Meanwhile, drop-off in the number of crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the person registered in the republic.
