Overnight January 9-10, the adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan more than 40 times firing over 500 shots towards the Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different calibers. The Azerbaijani forces also applied 82mm mortar (1 shell) in the northern direction of the Line of Contact.
As the Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministry reports, the Defense Army forces refrained from taking countermeasures and continued confidently fulfilling their military duty.
