The Azerbaijani forces have violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan for 45 times on the night of January 17-18, firing around 490 shots toward the Armenian positions.
According to the NKR Defense Army report, the Azerbaijan sources have applied under-barrel grenade (1 shell) on the northern direction of the Line of Contact.
Defense Army vanguard units fully control the situation on the frontline and continued carrying out the reliable protection of the combat positions, reads the statement.
