The Azerbaijani forces have violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan for 70 times on the night of January 19-20, firing around 1050 shots toward the Armenian positions from firearms, including machine guns of large calibers.
According to the NKR Defense Army report, more intensive violations were recorded in the eastern and southeastern directions, where the adversary fired around 300 shots from machine guns.
NKR Defense Army vanguard units fully control the situation on the frontline and continue carrying out the reliable protection of the combat positions, reads the statement.
