New facts emerge with regard to the massacres of Armenians organized in Baku on January 13-19, 1990. In particular, the Armenians were kept hostage, tortured and those who tried to escape on ferries were thrown into the sea. This was told to reporters by the Head of the “Ordinary Genocide” program, Marina Grigoryan, in the “Novosti-Armenia” press center.
She informed that the project was collected evidence of survivors and witnesses of the Baku massacre, “We went to the USA where 60000 Armenians are settled after the massacre and recorded 150 people. As a result, we have a film in three languages, “A genocide that lasts one century. Baku’s black January.” New facts have emerged.
The survivor has told that Armenians are kept a hostage after January. A woman who lives in the United States was kept a hostage for one year together with Russian servicemen. She miraculously survived and is in bed for seven years.” Marina Grigoryan told that facts showed that Armenians were thrown into the Caspian Sea when traveling on a ferry in the direction of Turkmenistan but it is not known how many of them perished from this vandalism. It was also disclosed that some criminal lawsuit were filed by the fact of assault against Armenians in Baku.

Although documents are preserved but the cases were dismissed. Marina Grigoryan presented also the new book which was created based on the interviews with Armenian survivors and summarizes their evidence. The second volume of the book is in progress now.
