‘Hovik Abrahamyan forced to withdraw or he was so courageous’

January 27,2017 09:03

“We can applaud Hovik Abrahamyan for leaving RPA, also all those who will leave and give up this power.  It has done everything for Armenia not to be established as a country,” said publicist and former deputy head of the National Security Service, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan, at the “Tesaket” press club, today, referring to former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan’s decision to withdraw from RPA party.

“Imagine, Hovik Abrahamyan forms an alliance for the sake of power… it is ridiculous,” said a member of Public Council, leader of “National Democratic Alliance” party, Arshak Sadoyan, expressing confidence that former RPA officials should not be supported, “It is a lamentable political field.  What is Paruyr Hayrikyan doing there?”

Then, Arshak Sadoyan asked, “Was Hovik Abrahamyan forced to come out to create an illusion or he was so courageous that decided to fight independently?  I doubt that he has abandoned RPA with the intention to fight independently.”  Incidentally, Arshak Sadoyan also noted that he is not participating in the upcoming elections for he has no chances.
