Stepantsminda-Lars highway, crossing the Russian – Georgian border through the Lars checkpoint, is open for light passenger vehicles with antiskid chains as of 10:30 am January 28, Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication reported, referring to the report of the Roads Department at Georgia’s Ministry of Infrastructure.
According to the source, the road is closed for trucks due to heavy snow.
The ministry says it will provide further information on the situation throughout the day.
