“Russia is a more serious partner than we imagine; its potential is huge while we were thinking to occupy a small room in the Russian market via different roundabout ways and that’s it … we are in a very desperate condition. Even in a wartime, we can improve our situation but the objectives are not clearly formulated because the activity is in having a power,” said economist and a member of ANC party, Vahagn Khachatryan, today, at the “Media Center” estimating the government’s measures aimed at boosting the economy.
He noted that no economic growth to present to the public actually exists since 2014, “The state debt has increased, people’s revenues are not growing, no pensions and salaries are increased, there will be no increase in purchasing power this year, a terrible situation in the industries of agriculture and construction… Either the responsible lack in time or were not involved in the industry is the past and now are making “discoveries” for us. We know since 2014 that economic growth presented to use actually does not exist.” The economist also qualified the rumors a “lie” that the export of agricultural products has grown six times, “If we are going to keep lying, the available investments will not exist either.”
