The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group propose to organize a meeting between foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Karabakh conflict settlement within the Munich Security Conference in the mid-February. Russian Co-Chair Igor Popov has announced about this, Panorama.am reports referring to TASS Russian news agency.
“The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs have planned to hold separate meetings with Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers within Munich Security Conference. If the minsters are interested we will organize a joint meeting as well,” I. Popov noted.
To note, earlier Armenia’s Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian said: “The Co-Chairs proposed to hold a meeting on the eve of the Munich Security Conference. A proposal was also made to organize a meeting between foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
We have never declined such meetings, yet we are unsure what plots Azerbaijan is going to play this time.”
