Recently, “Heritage” faction MP Tevan Poghosyan announced that he does not want to be nominated. “Aravot” was interested to know the reason. He replied, “If I do not know the program, what people are offering, how they imagine it… When the program is available, then I will see.” To the question of whether he sees anything cordial from any of the alliances formed until now, he replied, “There are places where you know the people, you know your work with them, have passed good and bad days with them. There are also places where you see people are gathered, and I have not heard any speech nor participated in any Committee activities for 5.5 years.” He said that the lawmaker should not work in “old manners” in the parliamentary system.
To our question of whether he will enroll in RPA, Tevan Poghosyan asked, “Me? In RPA? I am confident that if there is an offer I will reject immediately, I did not even occur to my mind in the worst option that I can see myself in RPA. Maybe some 50-60 years later, if RPA keeps going with self-filtering, I may be interested in it, but still, 50-60 years must pass.” Tevan Poghosyan said that there are people in “Yelk” alliance with whom he communicates, has worked and knows their capability, “But anyway, I am interested in the program to understand what we are going to do. Once, I have failed on the concept of the program: they say one thing and then do something else, therefore, I do not want to be repeated.”
