‘Naming the Alliance “Tsarukyan” is fairly treated:’ Ruben Mehrabyan

February 08,2017 08:27

“They are trying to get a “non-zero” by adding a couple of “zero” by the Alliance”.  This does not work, it is against the laws of arithmetic.  The alliances are unprincipled and centered around certain personalities,” said political scientist Ruben Mehrabyan at the “Tesaket” press club referring to the formed alliances of political forces ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

He particularly addressed the “Tsarukyan Alliance” expressing an opinion that naming the Alliance “Tsarukyan” is fairly treated, “It is truly organized around Tsarukyan.  As to how it will be presented to the public except for good wishes, we will see.  On the other hand, Tsarukyan is not participating in the elections for the first time, and I do not see grounds to say that his current participation will differ from the previous one in terms of quality.”  According to Ruben Mehrabyan, the “Yelk” alliance, however, to some extent is a spontaneous power, “Its component political forces being different are trying to find something in common, as to what extent they will succeed, life will tell.”
