There is a Georgian football club Guria Lanchkhuti. Once, this team used to play in the first group in the Soviet league. But in 1987, thanks to the great efforts, this team managed to get out to the top group. And to make the Georgian team stable in the second place in this group, the Georgian sports leadership decided to send a few football players from Tbilisi “Dinamo” to “Guria” and a few players moved from Lanchkhuti team to the capital. The exchange effects were painful: by the results of USSR championship in 1987, “Gurria” ranked the last 16th place and the Tbilisi “Dinamo” ranked the 13th in the championship, after the 5th place in 1986.
What are we speaking about? If there are 100 rubles in your pocket and 20 rubles in the other pocket, then after transferring 30 rubles from the first pocket, you will have 50 rubles in each pocket. This is the case in physical and also financial world. In more complicated cases when the patterns of human and public relations operate, the mechanical and arithmetic adding up and subtraction do not operate. When the Rule of Law declares that it has united 500 or 1000 political parties and NGOs and has named it an “Armenian Renaissance”, this does not mean that the Rule of Law party’s strength has grown by 500 or 1000 times. And maybe it would be more effective to remain with the old Rule of Law members. We have a brilliant example of denying the mechanical unity when the “Heritage” participated in the previous parliamentary elections with a “broad alliance” and failed. While it would have won if the old and experienced “Heritage” members had remained.
Now, this party wishes to enter any alliance, incidentally, “Yelk” and “Ohanyan” alliance are equipotent for the “Heritage”. Now, to leave an impression of a “broad consolidation”, particularly PAP attracts petty, as it is used to say, “man-parties”. And who said that by keeping the name “Prosperous Armenia” and by relying on people who have displayed decency in a difficult situation, this party would not have achieved better results? Now, Will “Prosperous Armenia” be stronger by recruiting two types of Hunchak members, maybe the ADLA, PANM (unfortunately) and others? Or, will Vardan Ghukasyan Hakob Hakobyan from Etchmiadzin be their locomotive?
In the public relations, 1+1 can be 100 or 1000 but can become 0.25. It depends on what you add to what.
