Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan for 40 times overnight February 8-9, firing over 200 shots toward the Armenian positions using 60mm mortars, various types of grenade launchers and machine guns.
As the press department of the NKR Defense Ministry told Panorama.am the adversary made more intensive violations at the eastern and north-eastern directions of the contact line firing a total of 15 shells from mortars and grenade launchers (9 from mortars and 6 from grenade launchers).
The vanguard units of the Defense Army continues fully control the frontline situation and confidently fulfil their military duty.
