“We should not withdraw the CSTO but demand the one who has allowed himself an encroachment on human rights, and it is Lukashenko, his and his type people should not have a place in this structure,” said NA RPA faction MP Mkrtich Minasyan at the “Pastark” press club referring to extradition of blogger and journalist Alexander Lapshin to Azerbaijan by Belarus.
In this regard, estimations were voiced at the National Assembly to withdraw from this organization. Mkrtich Minasyan noted that Armenia will not gain anything by withdrawing from the CSTO, instead, Armenia should raise an alarm to the international community that there are leaders inappropriate for the 21st century, such as the president of Belarus, as mentioned by Mr. Minasyan, “He was planning to make his underage son a president … all these are actions of a man with morbid ambitions.”
