‘Selling knife, find out whether the buyer is RPA member:’ Aram Sargsyan’s urge to PM

The leader of the “Republic” party (“Yelk” alliance), Aram Sargsyan, following parliamentarian Nikol Pashinyan’s call to the Prime Minister recently, repeats, “Do not import knife to Armenia.”  “Or, I will urge the Prime Minister to hand down an order to find out when selling a knife in the stores whether he is a Republican, if so, do not sell,” said the leader of the “Republic” party being in one alliance with the “Yelk”, Aram Sargsyan, at the “Yelk” common club during the meeting with the journalists, commenting on the information that the discrepancies between the candidate nominated by the RPA rating procedure and other candidate have resulted in stabbing.

The leader of the “Bright Armenia” party Edmon Marukyan responded the stabbing incident as follows: “If they rely on stabbing and beating, so what can I say?… I am sure if indeed fair elections are held, it is impossible for the Republican Party to constitute the majority in the parliament.”  The Board member of “Civil Contract” party, parliamentarian Nikol Pashinyan said that the incident is a signal to the public that the RPA puts the election campaign on the shoulders of people capable of stabbing.
