At the united headquarter of Yelk bloc the members of the bloc Aram Sargsyan, Edmon Marukyan, Artak Zeynalyan and Alen Simonyan held a meeting with Mr. Richard Mills, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the US to the Republic of Armenia. At the course of the meeting there were discussed a number of issues concerning the parliamentary elections to be held on April 2, 2017. They talked about the launch of the pre-election campaign and other inner political issues. The member of Yelk bloc expressed their concerns over the elections to the Ambassador Richard Mills. At the course of the discussion Mr. Ambassador noted. “It is important to have an active campaign of ideas and for the Armenian voters to be sure their votes will count. I join you in denouncing rumors that the video cameras and identification technology in the polling places are being installed to track how people will vote. I urge all Armenian voters to go to the polls on April 2 for the sake of Armenia’s future.”
