To the question of how topical are the Communists ideas, the candidate of Armenia Communist Party Ruben Balabanyan replied in a meeting with the journalists at the “Hayeli” Press Club, “The ideas that we put forward are successfully used in the United States and France. We abandoned these ideas, and they are always topical and applicable, there is no barrier for their use.” To the question of how you are planning to save our economy, Ruben Balabanyan replied, “The problem is to evade tax liabilities, we have a shadow economy, they do not pay taxes, they do not invest the penny of their work into the state budget, laws are required.”
The candidate running for the parliament, Irina Hovakimyan, began to tell her biography, saying that she was brought up in the spirit of Communism, “Up to now, I adhere to these ideas which are humanitarian notions: love, respect and assistance.” To our question why pensioners dominate in their list, Mrs. Hovakimyan was surprised, “They are not only pensioners, Trump became the US President at his age, so now, getting to the parliament for the people of that age is not a problem, everybody knows how to work, help others, it is not a big deal, we need to bring up a generation, our demands are fair, we can make the current youth believe, involve in our ranks… in your opinion, isn’t Trump a pensioner? So what? But his brain is working.”
Armenian Communist Party was founded in 1991. The party considers itself a successor of Soviet Union. The Party is participating in parliamentary elections scheduled for April 2.
