“Five political forces are vote-buying,” said the member of the Congress-PPA (ANC) alliance, Levon Zurabyan, at a press conference without giving the names of distributors of electoral bribes.
To our question that after the interview the first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosian, the social networks are poured with criticisms that Levon Ter-Petrosyan props up Serzh Sargsyan to handover the lands and unilateral concessions, so how Levon Zurabyan will comment on it, he replied, “Ter-Petrosyan speaks of the fact that whoever is the government of Armenia, the peace program must move forward, if we come to power, we will do it, should it be any other force, it will do it. If he does it, yes, we will support him on this issue. We will not support but insist and exert pressure on the government with our movement for Armenia to move to peace. This is what the president wanted to say. The rest is the result of sick minds or imaginations.”
To the question about how he is going to support the government if the latter implements your peace program, he replied that if the government will need their assistance, they will help but if it kicks against, they will exert pressure, “Ter-Petrosyan clearly said that they will never enter into a coalition but if they go by the path of peace, naturally, we will help with public approaches. For the remaining issues, we will continue to remain their ruthless critic and will do everything to establish one government in Armenia which is honest and accountable to the people.”
