Parliamentary candidate of the “Free Democrats” party, Hrant Bagratyan, talked about the establishment of “Armenia’s Investments Club” investment fund at the “Hayeli” club. “It is good that Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan is speaking about the investments, but how does he speak? It is not the investment fund what I am saying, it is a bourgeois fund. What I am saying is a sovereign fund, the People’s Fund when the state selects fifty projects, including the Tehran-Yerevan highway project, and says, dear people, make a thousand dollars “share” to this project,” said Bagratyan.
As he said, he is continuously raising the issue of creating the mentioned fund for years, “Hovik Abrahamyan and Karen Karapetyan has said, we will do it. I have no way to call Karen Karapetyan and say, why do you not do?” Bagratyan promised that if elected as a member of the Parliament, he will establish this fund in one month.
