At the campaign in the city of Ararat, Ararat Marz, the leader of the “Yelq” alliance, Edmon Marukyan said that this alliance does not preach hatred, it generates only positive emotions and leads the movement to changes. “I will talk about the rumors of the last 3 days that allegedly we pick on and criticize not only the government but also others. There is no such thing, we are very positively disposed towards everybody and love everybody. There is just one problem, we cannot hide the truth from our citizens, we are telling the truth.”
Marukyan said they were moving towards the victory with a positive campaign. Addressing the residents of Ararat city, Marukyan said, “Imagine, it turns out on April 5 that your neighbor has not voted for the “Yelq” alliance but the former or current RPA coalition partners who have against formed a coalition and have wasted their opposition vote and it has gone in favor of the RPA Party, you will be no longer correct this mistake. You will not be able to say, well, I will correct my mistake during the presidential elections. You cannot say it as there are no presidential elections. Therefore, you just not allow a mistake. The “Yelq” alliance is a united opposition, it is an opposition formed by the demand of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia and it is the only force that will never form a coalition with the Republican Party, or an opposition that has disappointed.”
Marukyan presented some of the program provisions, saying that they will establish a Committee of Truth which will have a legal basis and will reveal the truth, “Both the known political murders on October 27, March 1 and the lawsuit over the capturing of the police patrol regiment by “Sasna Tsrer” will be revealed. The goal of establishing a Committee of Truth is for our community to obtain solidarity. There is a need for truth. The hatred is so preached from all sides that people cannot act in various initiatives unitedly. We are against this hatred, we are coming to reveal this truth and to close these open pages and move forward towards a more developed and more powerful Republic of Armenia.”
