The Armenian tale “Anahit” by the great writer Ghazaros Aghayan was presented in Martuni, Artsakh Republic, on March 27 by Shushi State Theater after Mkrtich Khandamiryan.
“I must say that everything depends on the type of the performance, theme and the play of actors. The link between society and theatre should be strengthened; People should be interested in theatrical life.
“Theatre life becomes more and more active in Artsakh,” she said and added: “Soon we will mark the tenth anniversary of our theater. So a new hall with 350 seats will be opened in Shushi and 2 years ago we were provided with the puppet theater.”
World Theatre Day (WTD) is celebrated on March 27. It was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI).
