March 30,2017 06:26

“We do not need a “Maidan”, we will not go for it, there should be a democracy, this is what the society should do.  If the people reject the government, we will not kick against, we say that we have a program substituting the RPA,” said the member of the Alliance, former MP of SB Azat Arshakyan, in the meeting with the reporters at the “Hayk” Center, referring to the opinions voiced over the “Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian” Alliance that the latter is planning to organize a “Maidan” in the post-election period.

As for the characterization that “ORO” is the force that is planning to hold a colored revolution in the post-election period, in Azat Arshakyan’s words, “It’s a compliment … but the RPA has already started the change of power.  There already exists a semi-change of power in RPA.  They already see that they have nothing to appear before the public… If they know it and introduce “photogenic” people: Arpine Hovhannisyan, Vigen Sargsyan, Karen Karapetyan, Taron Margaryan, it means that they are already headed to a “perestroika” … it is a “colored” change of power.”  Arshakyan also expressed confidence that the RPA party has already started the process of seizing the power, “If this continues, there will be a post-election process for sure.  I am not saying that we will do it.”
