Azerbaijani forces broke the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan 50 times overnight to March 29-30, firing more than 500 shots toward the Armenian positions from weapons of different calibers, including sniper rifles.
As the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic reports, Azerbaijani forces applied sniper rifles more intensively in the southeastern and eastern directions of the Line of Contact, releasing 86 shots in total.
Defense Army frontline units retaliated to suppress the adversary’s offensive activity and continued to confidently carry out their combat duty, the statement added.
