Armen Smbatyan, Secretary of Central Electoral Commission, in an interview to Aravot.am referred to the alarm of “Yelq” bloc that members of some political powers distributed some codes (for example B578) to the voters. They should put those codes in the envelope as the voting control measure.
“If the voter wants to secret vote, then the legislation gives that opportunity. If he doesn’t want, then the job of the Central Electoral Commission is difficult, ” he said.
Armen Smbatyan added, “The electoral commissions should provide more, but the commission member can’t enter the voting booth and check whether the voter performs such action which will reveal his vote.”
