The President of the Republic of Armenia and the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan voted in 9/18 polling station located at 24th primary school, Yerevan. The President had stood at electronic fingerprint scanner for about 3 minutes, the scanner wasn’t reading the fingerprint, the President tried all 10 fingers one after another and eventually succeeded.
The fingerprint scanner specialist of the given voting station Lilia Kartoyan explained later in the conversation with the journalists that there was no problem connected with the equipment. According to her, probably, either something was wrong with the fingerprint or that problem was connected with the age change.
