Violence, beatings, and hooliganisms: citizens to alert police

The Police of the Republic of Armenia have received a set of alerts on election violations, as Chief of the Staff of the Head of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Police Colonel
Meruzhan Hakobyan informed in the press briefing with journalists in Central Electoral Commission.

He noted that 2 of the alerts refer to hooliganisms, 1 to the prevention f the legitimacy of proxy and observer missions, 8 to voting more than one time and 1 to the violation of the voting privacy/confidentiality. Meruzhan Hakobyan didn’t go further into details on where and what acts of hooliganism they were, currently the Police work on the traces of the alert.

Through the Hotline of the Police of RA, as Hakobyan informs, a few alerts have been received on the overcrowdings in the polling stations, ballot-box stuffing, bribe distribution, as well as violations and beatings. In this case Meruzhan Hakobyan did not convey exact data alike, inasmuch as the law enforcers prepare materials.
