On April 2 non-legitimate parliament was elected in Armenia. Announced Armen Martirosyan – “Ohanyan – Raffi – Oskanian” pre-election alliance chief of staff, “Heritage” party vice-president. “Now we have a non-legitimate authority which can neither defend state interests nor provide a progress relative to Kharabakh issue, and nor it can implement economic reforms”, told Mr. Martirosyan. According to him, now “we have commenced a new phase of restructuring and the cooperation among the powers encompassed in the alliance will proceed… in any case, regardless of everything, we will proceed with our activities, power shift will remain on our agenda.”
Pursuant to Mr. Martirosyan’s conviction, primary political processes
were left out of the parliament inasmuch as the election was not a political process but a result of black propaganda, sale, and purchase of votes voting via guidance: “Evidently we will face the long-term issue of the defense of public’s interests. Our alliance, the forces cooperating with us will be the vanguard of the public interest defense. We have told that we are coming for a long term, there will be a unit to defend people’s interest and it will be done.” Referring to the street fight Armen Martirosyan told that certain stimuli are needed for that: “The motives are manifold when people see the actual situation and go out, we will be the pioneers.” The MP candidate of the alliance Hovsep Khurshudyan believes that the opposition lost and was not able to represent a systematized alternative: ““Heritage”, then “ORO” did everything to create a possible wide-range unification against the authority, to form an alternative, for people to see that their vote would lead to real changes. We did not succeed, there were reasons… there is no public stream, demand, for now, the society does not see that his vote has been falsified.”
