While ‘Yelq’ expects EEU collision, will Moscow impose concessions on Artsakh issue on RA?

According to economist, nominee from “Free Democrats” party not having received sufficient votes in parliamentary elections Ashot Yeghiazaryan, out of the forces having passed into the parliament solely “Yelq” bloc is pro-western, which proposes to sign a framework agreement with EU without leaving EEU, but does not give further details on how to do it. “It is impossible, to sign an agreement with EU, we should leave EEU”, told Ashot Yeghiazaryan. According to him “Yelq” does not suggest a solution with this regard and it seems they wait for EEU to collide by itself, after which they will start a European integration. “This is dangerous and will eventually lead to constraints on Armenia relative to concessions on Artsakh issue. The latter should try to preserve its position in the region through RA forasmuch as it does not have a great influence on Azerbaijan and Georgia”, noted Ashot Yeghiazaryan. Pursuant to the economist’s characterization, any suggestion of the regulation on Artsakh issue coming from Moscow means to force RA to make concessions: “Concessions are unrealizable, they mean Artsakh surrender. After parliamentary elections RA came out with a more non-sovereign status, therefore an attempt will be made to extort concessions.”
