“If a united alliance is created so as we go on a united front and free Yerevan, start the liberation of Armenia from Yerevan, if something like this is done, we will take part, if not, we will not participate in village heads elections in this phase”, told NSU leader Paruyr Hayrikyan to Aravot.am answering to the question whether there was a likelihood for them to partake in the forthcoming elections of the Council of Elders.
According to him, they do not consider the “election of the village head” to be principal and great party work in this situation: “There is a problem to make Armenia a country owned by its citizens in this situation.”
To our question whether they expect a suggestion to form an alliance, Mr. Hayrikyan answered: “We have voiced, fruition and acknowledgment are to follow. Before the elections, we spoke, represented suggestions and waited for suggestions, but they made a fool of themselves presumptuously and are eventually overturned. Devastated are those who are not the part of the team of 51%, the rest is a puerility, and let the brats be pleased with it.” Let us remind you that the elections of the Council of Elders of Yerevan will take place on May 14. The application deadline expires on April 9.
