The representatives of “Yelq” bloc presented their documents to the Central Electoral Committee (CEC) on April 9, to participate in the elections of the Council of Elders.
Aravot.am asked Vahagn Hovakimyan what was the reason for only three powers having the wish to participate in the elections of the Council of Elders, according to him. “I think the reason for this picture is the result of the parliamentary elections. The source is there, when political parties began evaluating their chances. That is, they evaluated it too low and did not try to enter into a campaign after failing once”, said Vahagn Hovakimyan.
CEC secretary Armen Smbatyan was offering candies to everyone while receiving the documents. “Take your candy, we know what we will take”, said Artak Zeynalyan.
