‘Azerbaijan to decide its aggression merit by itself’: Ruben Safrastyan

Turkologist Ruben Safrastyan believes that within the negotiation process of Artsakh conflict settlement no resolute changes are to be expected in the future inasmuch as the superpowers are focused on Syrian conflict. Journalists asked whether Turkey’s activeness in Syria would not encourage Azerbaijan to new actions: “Azerbaijan’s aggression is highly conditioned by Turkey in our region, but the latter will continue deepening within Syrian issues. Kurdish independence accomplishment in Syria is in process… I do not expect Turkey to be eager in provoking Azerbaijan in South Caucasus.
