Avetik Ishkhanyan: Teachers humiliated taken to court second time

April 13,2017 02:34

“There is no criminal commitment in place”, told the president of Helsinki Committee of Armenia Avetik Ishkhanyan during the press conference.

Let us remind you that the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO had publicized records of school headmasters revealing their confession about accumulating lists for the Republican Party of Armenia in rule. 30 school headmasters have appealed to court demanding from Daniel Ioannisyan to apologize and to pay a compensation of 2 million AMD.

Avetik Ishkhanyan noted that in civilized countries suchlike exposures are proceeded with scandals, resignations: “The executors of the order were assured they would not be punished. I was confident that certain actions would be undertaken against Daniel after the elections, of course. And one of the reasons was that all political forces, RPA in exception, should have utilized those exposures up to ultimatums: if this issue is not disclosed they do not take part in the elections. And this indicated the fact our primary political forces lie in the same condition as the teachers. The teachers are humiliated for the second time – being taken to court. Actually, if the dignity of those teachers is damaged they should have appealed against the respective officers of the City Council, party offices, regional administrations who had put them in that situation.”
