Aravot.am asked Tigran Mukuchyan, chairman of Central Electoral Commission, whether there is evidence of violations of Electoral Code in the leaked recording of “SAS group’s” pre-electoral meeting. Mukuchyan answered that he has already answered this question, he has nothing to add and left.
Yelq candidate for Yerevan City Council David Khazhakyan in the interview with Aravot.am said: “The recording shows that they have suppressed the electors’ expression of free will. It is against the Electoral code.”
According to Khazhakyan, the law enforcement bodies should assess the threatenings heard in the recording and only after that it will be clear whether there will be criminal proceedings against Artak Sargsyan, or he will lose his mandate.”
