Artsakh Deputy Foreign Minister received AGBU Delegation

On April 22, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh Republic) Armine Alexanian received a group of young activists of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) accompanied by Director of the AGBU Europe, Nicolas Tavitian, who had arrived in Artsakh in the frameworks of the campaign ‘For Karabakh’ initiated by the AGBU Europe.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon a range of issues related to the international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh and its involvement in international processes, as well as the strengthening of the Artsakh-Diaspora relations. The sides also noted the importance of taking active steps to disseminate true information about Artsakh in Europe and to raise awareness about the Republic in the international community.

At the request of the guests, the Deputy Foreign Minister briefed on the situation created in the process of peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict as a result of the aggression launched by Azerbaijan in April 2016, as well as on the processes of democratic development taking place in Artsakh.
