“We do everything we can for Armenia, for that to enter politics is not required. I do not do it for a position”, announced businessman, one of the founders of “Aurora” humanitarian award Ruben Vardanyan, referring to the question how possible is his entry into the politics.
Ruben Vardanyan also spoke of not being encompassed in the list of candidates and hesitated to say whether “Bread Bringer” would be included in the list of candidates or not if he were alive. Vardanyan commented as well on the accusations as if having left the human rights issues in Armenia aside, “Aurora” voices humanitarian issues of other countries.
“It seems to us that our country is an Eldorado… there is not a sole country with lack of human rights issues. We – Armenians think of our issues exceptionally, but we want to say that others’ pain has also to be concerned with. This is difficult, but only this way you can change an attitude”, assured Ruben Vardanyan.
