The president of “National Security” party Garnik Isagulyan addressed the results of the parliamentary elections saying that litigation is not right: “The signed lists of the voters were publicized. This time more than 1.5 million people voted. The Republican Party of Armenia did everything to give an answer to this disputable question.”
Garnik Isagulyan said that the statements as if the vote-buying has affected the results of the elections are not trustworthy as well: “That phenomenon is present, but whether it has had that impact, I think – not. The reason was that no party had prepared for the elections and understood the primary requirements of the Electoral Code except for the RPA.”
The RPA, as stated by Isagulyan, was able to create three-layered campaign structure – candidates, Karen Karapetyan, RPA president. “The latter worked with all candidates registered in all 13 constituencies. This is not spoken of. President Serzh Sargsyan has personally met with all candidates of RPA.
