The president of “Yerkrapah Voluntary Union” Manvel Grigoryan told: “Without remembering our history, we cannot build our future. Especially our volunteers have given many losses during both Artsakh Liberation War and April War. I do not speak of hundreds of disabled people. To keep the memory of the victims alive the boys should have a corner and their parents and relatives should feel that we remember them.”
Asked what we should do, as the tension on the border has recurred, the general answered: “Tension on the border is in place since 89. We can say, there is not a week without one soldier dead or disabled. This is already the issue of our country, our government, us all. We should all become prudent. If we are not strong, are not united, do not have a strong country, our army will not be powerful, through pouring this much blood we will not pass a long way. Our power is in our unity, the combat readiness and developed technology. We are surrounded by countries wishing for our bad. The war does not bring any good things. Everyone suffers. A mother, a child is orphaned. And we are not many. We should eventually be so powerful that our enemies do not make an attempt of shooting our soldiers do not try to break into.”
