“Yerkir Tsirani” party continued its campaign on May 3 with a car march.
Mayor candidate of “Yerkir Tsirani” Zaruhi Postanjyan explained the meaning of the colors of their cars: “White symbolizes our purity and justice.We are coming to clean the corruption, robbery and the enormous garbage that has accumulated during the last 20 years. We say human warmth to the sun city. Sun symbolizes the light, we cannot live in the darkness anymore, we want the light, we say after night comes the day.”
Referring to the campaign Zaruhi Postanjyan said: “We know that electors love us, we know that they accept our programs, they take us seriously. Not only the electors, but the Armenians, not only Yerevan residents support us, but all the Armenians.”
Journalists asked Zaruhi Postanjyan to comment on Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan’s criticism: “It would be preferable that Mr. Margaryan debates with us and criticizes our program, rather than to communicate with us through a distant debate. If he is so self-confident and tries to criticize my program let him come to a debate.”
