Nune Manukyan, the head of “Areni” festival foundation, with the help of Yerevan Municipality, organized the “Wine days of Yerevan” event on May 5 and 6. One of the most colorful corners of Yerevan, the part between Tumanyan-Pushkin crossroads at Saryan Street, was turned into a wine kingdom. There was live music playing in the background while in Saryan Street people, including foreigners, were smiling and taking pictures. There we also met the ambassador of USA to Armenia Richard Mills. The kings and queens wearing the Armenian traditional dresses of Teryan cultural center were completing the image of the ancient home of wine Armenia.
Months ago the organizers of the event announced that they had signed contracts with several tour operators to provide the flow of tourists from Russia, Iran, Germany, Spain, Italy, France and some other countries.
