During his working visit to the Republic of Artsakh, President Serzh Sargsyan today, accompanied by the Ministers of Defense of the two Armenian states, visited “TUMO” Center for Creative Technologies in Stepanakert, where the official launch of the “TUMO-Army” project was given. More than 200 military servicemen from the nearby military units participated in this education project.
The joint initiative of the RA Ministry of Defense and “Simonyan” Educational Foundation has been carried out since February 2017. “TUMO-Army” was initiated at Dilijan’s “TUMO” Center, where the soldiers have already overcome the first phase of an ongoing training provided by the project.
According to the organizers, the project will give an opportunity to the military servants of the Armenian Army to acquire knowledge and skills in the unique educational environment, which will raise their competitiveness during the service as well as after the demobilization.
The President of the Republic of Armenia toured around the Center, get acquainted with the implementation process of the “TUMO-Army” and with the further development of this initiative, as well as he talked to the soldiers and Center staff and wished them every success in the project implementation.
