Azerbaijani forces broke the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing troops 65 times overnight to May 10-11, firing around 1,700 shots toward the Armenian positions.
As Defense Army of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic reported, the Azerbaijani side applied 82mm mortars (4 shells) and D-44 artillery gun (8 shells) in Martakert direction.
Apart from ceasefire violation incidents, on May 10 at around 13:30 movement of military hardware (tanks) has been observed moving in Tapkarakoyunlu-Talish direction. At 14:55 the detected tanks returned to their initial positions.
Defense Army frontline units resorted to response actions to suppress the activeness of the Azerbaijani forces and continued the vigilant combat guard across the entire Line of Contact, the statement said, adding as of Thursday morning the operative situation on the frontline remained calm.
