The leader of “Yelq” bloc and the mayor candidate Nikol Pashinyan also voted. He had come with his wife and children. Speaking to reporters after voting, he said that the phenomenon of vote-buying has already been proven thanks to the sensational disclosures of “Yelq”. “The citizens are also participating in those vote-buying actions. We hope that they will overcome that despair. We don’t put our hope on the CEC (Central Electoral Commission) or on another body; we will try to be consistent in a number of our forces,” said Pashinyan.
He is sure, “RPA (Republican Party of Armenia) cannot have a chance without vote-buying. Parliamentary elections showed that they can direct the people with vote-buying.”
