During the press conference after Yerevan City mayor voting, the vice president of the RPA Armen Ashotyan announced that RPA has been restrained and it inspires trust that RPA’s actions were within the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
The journalist of ‘Azatutyun’ radio station has recorded a case of vote-buying at one of RPA’s pre-electoral offices. There is a video of both the bribe giveaway and the violence toward the journalist that has recorded it. On this occasion, Armen Ashotyan said: “For me, the proof of the electoral bribe will be the court verdict, which can exist within the Criminal Code.”
