Though the “Yelq” announces that they have proofs about vote buying, they are going to appeal to the Prosecutor’s office and carry out a recount actions in some campaign offices, however, they won’t appeal to the post-election actions.
The bloc deputy Nikol Pashinyan said at the press conference, “Suppose we are going to start a post-election action; do you believe that the citizen who has sold his vote will go to the Freedom Square? If he went to the polling station for 10.000 drams, he also will go home for 10.000 drams.”
Edmond Maruqyan added. “The citizen who did not go for voting, do you believe he will go to the Square?”
Nikol Pashinyan said, “For what do we supposed to start post-election actions? To give another chance that citizen, who spent his vote, to earn another 10.000 drams? We think more about our voters (70 thousand in Yerevan and 120 thousand in the RA). We don’t have the right to shoot not on the target. I myself don’t want to take the citizens out for excursion all along the downtown. If we see that there are some justified basics…The political power, that can fulfill the regime change with the post-election actions, is able to win the election as well. If the citizen didn’t come to the elections, he also won’t come to the post-election actions. ”
He was asked whether it meant that he didn’t want to repeat the mistakes of the ANC (Armenian National Congress), Pashinyan said, “I do not want to repeat my own mistakes.”
