Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh/NKR) and Azerbaijan more than 100 times, firing more over 1600 shots from weapons of different calibers towards the Armenian positions on May 22 to overnight May 23.
As the Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministry told Panorama.am, in addition to firearms, the adversary fired D-44 cannon (9 shells) in the eastern direction and 82mm mortar (9 shells) at the northeastern direction of the Contact Line.
The Armenian side did not suffer any losses as a result of the Azerbaijani ceasefire violation.
Karabakh frontline units took countermeasures to suppress the Azerbaijani activeness and continued conducting reliable defense of military positions.
