Yerevan—The Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) convened a roundtable seminar discussion today entitled “A Year after the April War: Debates over the Status Quo in Mountainous Karabagh.” Invited guests included political analysts, civil society representatives and media commentators with expert-level knowledge of the issue. ACNIS administrative director Karapet Kalenchian welcomes the participants.
The main presentations were made by ACNIS director Analyst Manvel Sargsian and Artsakh’s Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Melikyan.
The founding director of the Center and the first Foreign Minister of Armenia Raffi Hovannisian participated in the seminar and presented his points of view on the subject.
After the presentations, there was a lively exchange of opinions among the participants: “United Armenians” Movement board member Azat Arshakyan, political experts Armen Aghayan and Sergey Shakaryants, “Partnership for Democracy” NGO chairman Stepan Danielyan, and others.
