“Recently our economy is reviving, the economic activity index grows, we have growth nearly in every field,” during the press conference said MP, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Melikyan.
“We are really working to reduce the shadow economy,” claimed he despite the opposite statements. Referring to the investments that Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan mentions, Gagik Minasyan noted: “There is a myth that investment means money, whereas investment means the technologies which create jobs, produce goods. The businessman should be invited not a financier which will give money and leave. Objectively we have many shortcomings: undeclared war, closed borders, small marked.”
According to Gagik Minasyan, in this case, it is not serious to expect that there will be big investments in Armenia, but reforms gradually will be visible also for foreign investors.
