The deadline established by the Rules of Procedure is over, and the names of the persons who will replace the resigned deputies of “Tsarukyan” alliance are to be already known. Let us remind that three deputies of the alliance, Khachik Manukyan, Harutyun Karagyozyan, and Artyom Tsarukyan, announced about their resignation to the NA president on the second day of the new parliament’s launch, after numerous upheavals occurred within the frames of the “mandate-fight”. Till the end of the deadline established by the NA Rules of Procedure, the deputies did not address the NA president to return their applications. According to rumours they will be replaced by Hakob Nazaryan, Nora Arustamyan, and Gevorg Petrosyan.
The president of the permanent committee on the NA science, education, culture, and sport issues, a deputy of “Tsarukyan” alliance, Vardan Bostanjyan was asked whether there had been any discussions, whether the names of the new deputies were definite. “We know that Hakob Nazaryan, Nora Arustamyan, and Gevorg Petrosyan will enter the parliament”, the deputy noted, adding that on April 30, at the special session of the parliament their names will probably be announced.
There are rumours that the leader of the alliance, Gagik Tsarukyan, has promised mandates to several other people as well, and for that, some other deputies who have received mandates will have to resign too. To the question whether there might appear more applications for resignation, Vardan Bostanjyan replied, “I don’t know. I do not delve into this type of matters”.
