The leader of the “Yerkir Tsirani” party Zaruhi Postanjyan was asked whether she was going to take her mandates as a member of the Elders’ Council, and how she would do that, after calling the “Yelq” bloc a venal once they took their mandates, as Edmon Marukyan mentioned. She answered, “I’m very sorry that the same question is being asked all the time, because there is no problem of mandates, this is another function. The Elders already have such powers, “Yerkir Tsirani” has participated, it owns all the powers, and when talking about a mandate, it is not the mandate, which is provided to an NA deputy, therefore they are confusing citizens. Whatever we own belongs to us. We don’t have a problem of taking or not. I would advise Edmon Marukyan to deal with his own functions, and, as a lawyer, to clear up what is the concept of mandate”.
