“There were economic problems after the April military operations. Many investors had postponed their investments. Fortunately, we have a large army of investors now, who do not quit their businesses”, said Arayik Harutyunyan during the recent meeting with journalists on a visit to Artsakh.
A 10 percent economic growth is expected in the Republic of Artsakh this year. “One mine has started operating. There were investments also in the hydropower sector. The volumes of constructive works have increased in recent months. Fish farming develops. We also contribute to the development of tourism”, said Arayik Harutyunyan.
Referring to tourism, he added that until recently there have been numerous hotels, that is why resources have been directed to other sectors, “If we see that the hotels are not enough for tourists, we have several hotel-building plans ready”.
